2021/22 COACHING STAFF

 

Josh Klein - Head Coach

This will be coach Klein's 11th season coaching Girl’s Lacrosse in Wisconsin. He is the current head coach for the Oregon Panthers high school girls program and had been the Eastside Varsity team head coach for the 2017 season and is the former head coach of the Verona Varsity and Junior Varsity girls teams. Ck is a USA Lacrosse Women's Level 3 certified coach, member of USA Lacrosse and involved with the USA Lacrosse Coaching Education Program and PCA. Coach Klein also serves as the Director of LAXERGIRL Foundation, a non profit committed to providing low to no cost lacrosse experiences for girls.

 

Coach Sabrina Boehlke - High School Coach

Sabrina is the current Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Edgewood College. Coach Boehlke was recently hired as the first womans lacrosse coach at Edgewood College in Madison. Coach Boehlke played her college career at Concordia University of Wisconsin and was the head Varsity coach at DSHA in Milwaukee.

 

Coach Zack Silber - Goalie Coach

Zack is the current assistant coach and goalie coach of the Oregon Panthers and also served as the assistant coach to the Lancers Ladies. He grew up learning the game of lacrosse in Baltimore, Maryland where he gradated from Duke University. He played for a few years and now enjoys coaching goalies. He is a trained Women's lacrosse referee, USA Lacrosse level 1 certified coach and has officiated in North Carolina and in Wisconsin. Currently, Zack works at Epic and races sailboats from time to time. 

 

Coach Karen Gill - MS and HS Coach

Karen coached the Oregon Girls 12U/14U team in the spring of 2019 and is excited to have the opportunity to coach again! She is USA Lacrosse Level 1 certified. Karen is a wife and mom to 3 great kids and has 6 years of lacrosse experience watching (and eventually coaching) her oldest daughter. Karen has enjoyed sports from a young age and continues to enjoy being active. She works for J.H Findorff & Son and in her spare time enjoys reading, scrapbooking and puzzles.

 

Coach Jenna Morse - MS and HS Coach
 

Coach Jenna has been playing lacrosse since the fifth grade and grew up in Upstate New York playing both on summer travel teams and school teams, graduating in 2014.  Jenna is a USA Lacrosse level 1 certified coach and has also coached a youth lacrosse team in Charlotte, NC in 2019. Currently, she is an occupational therapist and in her spare time enjoys painting, hiking, camping, and spending time with her puppy and husband.

 

Coach Mackenzie Schmidt - MS Coach

Coach Mackenzie has 10 years of playing experience. Currently Mackenzie is the captain of the University of Minnesota club lacrosse team. She has a lot of experience with different travel teams and clubs. Mackenzie is a USA Lacrosse level 1 certified coach and has helped coach many youth programs throughout high school. Mackenzie is a sophomore in college studying architecture and interior design.

 

 

Coach Kiersten Pelletier - MS Coach

Coach Pelletier, is from Madison Wisconsin and graduated from Verona Area High school in 2020. She started playing lacrosse around the age of 10 and has been playing ever since. Kiersten will be a sophomore at UW La Crosse in the fall where she will also be playing lacrosse. She is very involved with the sport as it is her passion. "In 2021 I had a great opportunity to coach for the Verona Girls Varsity team, and it's been a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to coaching for Laxergirl and continuing to share my love for the sport".

 

Coach Lauryn Rieder - Practice Coach

Coach Lauryn has been playing lacrosse since the sixth grade. She was one of the senior captains in 2019 for the Oregon Panthers Varsity team that won the State Invitational. (a first for Oregon) She has also played on summer travel teams and loves teaching and playing the game of lacrosse. Lauryn is sophmore at UW-Whitewater and plays attack on the club team. She plans to be a Special Education teacher when she graduates.
